Participation in the World Tourism
Investment Summit in Tianjin, China is by invitation only. All
applications will be reviewed and approved by the WTIS Global
Organizing Headquarters. Participants representing over 50
countries from around the globe will be attending. They include:
- Senior executives from
provincial, regional, national, international tourism agencies
(i.e., travel association, tour operators, city tourism
promotion agencies, tourism boards, tourism administrative
authorities).
- Senior executives in leading
institutions involved in the management of eco-tourism sites,
heritage properties, tourist attractions.
- National and international
transportation agencies (i.e. airlines, railways, bus tour
operators, cruise operators)
- National and international hotel
chains.
- Senior executives from private
and public media institutions (i.e., radio, TV, newsprint, etc)
who are involved in the tourism and travel industry.

The World Tourism
Investment Summit is an integral part of the World Trade Forum, a
Global Partnership Platform recognized by UN Resolution A/58/220 and
launched by the World Trade University Global Secretariat (Canada)
to respond to the challenges raised by the World Tourism
Organization, World Travel and Tourism Council and ‘10+3’
Ministerial Conference in China. |
